How to remove the power steering from a Scania truck

 

 

1   Undo the engine oil filler pipe and compressed air pipes from the fluid reservoir attachment.

2   Detach the hoses from the fluid reservoir.

3   Remove the wheel end lock screw from the

power steering gear lower end plate.

4   Detach the hoses from the power steering hydraulic pump.

 

5   Let the oil run out.

6   Turn the pinion on the power steering gear to both end positions to drain the oil.
